The biggest Honda 3S centre in Terengganu has opened its doors. The RM18 million facility, operated by long-time dealer Syarikat Tan Eng Ann, sits on 2.5 acres of land in Kawasan Perindustrian Gong Badak and has a total build-up area of 30,572 sq.ft.

The new 3S centre has 18 service bays that can accommodate up to 80 vehicles per day. There’s also a customer lounge, executive lounge, complimentary WiFi, road tax renewal and insurance services, kids’ corner and a surau. Syarikat Tan Eng Ann is already planning its next expansion phase to become a 4S Centre (with body and paint services) in two years’ time.

Honda Malaysia’s regional sales analysis shows that the brand is doing well in the East Coast, with the City topping its segment in sales. Terengganu contributed 19% to HM’s sales in the East Coast from January to August, which in turn accounted for 8% of the brand’s total sales of 55,764 units from Jan to Aug. Which means that so far, Honda has maintained its position as the non-national sales leader and No.2 behind Perodua in the overall standings.

“Over the past five years, our sales in East Coast have grown from 180 units for the period of January to August 2011 to more than 4,500 units for the same period this year. In addition, the service intake for the East Coast region is close to 50,800 units, an increase of about 13% year-to-date. In order to meet the needs of the increasing customers, it is crucial for dealers like Syarikat Tan Eng Ann to expand to a bigger facility,” said HM’s MD and CEO Katsuto Hayashi.

Honda Malaysia has 88 dealerships nationwide. For more info or to make an appointment, contact Syarikat Tan Eng Ann at 09-667 1796.

wah, even in Terengganu, where there are hardcore kampong folks (traditionally pro gomen) are now supporting Honda instead of Proton.

Can’t believe, the kampong folks also now know, that is more worthy to buy a Honda instead of a Proton.

Poor UMW still operating at tiny premise KT.It shows how great Honda Malaysia going for 3rd consecutive success years, slapping TMC Japan for neglecting us for decades by appointing UMW for its greedy subsidiary. This is proven indicator that we can win in fight with big giant for our own life! Great! Now another round for us to kick out policy makers in putrajaya on the next GE..Together,we can win!
