Highway concessionaire PLUS has announced that a new 1.3 km-long slip road at the Seremban interchange of the North-South Expressway will be opened to highway users at 3:30 pm on June 7.
The highway access slip road – constructed at a cost of RM12 million – is expected to provide convenience to some 18,000 daily users at the existing Seremban toll plaza, especially those travelling from Seremban 2 and Bukit Kepayang.
According to PLUS, following the introduction of the slip road, vehicles coming from Seremban 2 and Bukit Kepayang are no longer required to cross Jalan Sungai Ujong to enter the northbound Seremban toll plaza. Motorists can directly use the new slip road as they head towards Nilai and Kuala Lumpur. This is expected to alleviate the issue of the daily traffic congestion at Jalan Sungai Ujong and the Seremban interchange.
Work on the new slip road began in January 2017, with construction completed on May 31. The slip road features a three-lane entry toll plaza, which includes a SmartTAG lane, a Touch ‘n Go lane and a dedicated motorcycle lane.

One half years considered quite okay lar since this part of hiway is very busy everyday. If disregard safety and continue work during peak hours, 6 months pun boleh kaotim.
600k new cars put on the road every year. Not enough.
Syabas to PLUS. The 18,000 daily users will tenkiu for that effort. Kipidap!
