FIRST LOOK: 2018 Perodua Alza 1.5 Advance facelift

The Perodua Alza has just been given a second facelift, and the refresh introduces a number of exterior and interior revisions to the seven-seater compact MPV. Prices start from RM51k for the base 1.5 S Manual, to RM63k for the range-topping 1.5 Advance that you see here.

Outside, the SE and Advance get a sportier front and rear bumper, dual-chrome bar radiator grille and black-accented side skirts. The 15-inch wheels are also painted in a darker titanium finish. For the first time, Perodua is offering its official Gear Up accessories for the family mover.

On the safety front, all Alza models come with ABS with EBD as standard, but the all-important Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is still unavailable. Standard are dual front airbags and two Isofix mounting points in the middle row.

Watch the video above to know more about the Alza, and let us know what you think of it, below.

    • Safety is in the hands of a driver. Even u are driving a 4×4 with larger n heavier body will get u kill when u aren’t careful. But some manufacturers are trying to prove to the shareholders that they can make good profits for their companies without thinking of the consumers just like some of the distributors using Takada Air Bags that caused death to the car users.

  • No VSC, lap seat belt, 2 air bags, and it’s end of 2018. All these are red flags. PT should stop writing nor making any videos on these type of unsafe cars. No need to give any sort of free publicity.

Why malaysian people’s always want to arguing about proton and perodua cars? it’s weird that our people’s downing our country product and brag about other nation product such as bmw, merc, audi and so on. they also starting at zero like us malaysian. Why can’t we give feedback then support them and the production management and also goverment party also must give an action to make a better product for our car’s country. if like this, there is no chance our country will becoming like the other country car’s. Still with lame third class mentality. childish mentality that like to compete our own product. when proton got geely product, it’s said 30 years still rebadge and using other tech. then perodua doesn’t use other car brand tech like toyota and daihatsu? still lame this country people’s minded.

Move along now; look away; nothing to see here. Only a company wanting to suck as much profit as possible by recycling an old design.

But Perodua is an association of manufacturers or suppliers with the purpose of maintaining prices at a high level and restricting competition cause Perodua doesnt allow other brands like Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Toyota, Nissan, Proton, Mazda, Kia and Hyundai to be at the top, only Perodua is only wanted itself to be at the top which is very selfish, highly offensive, snobbish, awful and disrespectful to other car brands. Lastly don’t buy Perodua and also hopefully Perodua sales will keep on dropping

Alza drivers loves to tailgate Vios NCP93
    BECAUSE
Alza drivers thinks that their car engine is same as powerful as 1NZ-FE
    And this is fact !

Alza (Auto) acceleration is almost as powerful as Vios NCP93
    This could not deny …
