The National Day celebrations are coming up, and this year, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is offering a RM1,000 “Merdeka Voucher” on all its models, for bookings made from now until August 31. Essentially a rebate on any vehicle, it goes on top of the other promotions being offered by the company.
These include discounts of up to RM4,000 for the Polo, RM10,000 for the Vento Comfortline, RM6,000 for the Vento Highline, RM2,000 for the Golf R-Line, RM5,000 for the Beetle Sport, RM2,000 for the Tiguan Highline, RM15,000 for the Passat Comfortline and RM4,000 for the Passat Highline.
From now until December 31, Tiguan and Passat buyers also benefit from an extended free maintenance package – from the usual three years to five – plus a reduced interest rate of 1.88% per annum. Together with the voucher, VPCM claims total savings of up to RM14,800 for the Tiguan and RM16,100 for the Passat.
As for aftersales, VPCM is offering a complimentary vehicle check, with those due for a shock absorber change receiving a 20% discount on new dampers. There’s also a promotion on tyres from as low as RM184 per piece (along with other offers such as free installation, alignment and balancing, depending the package selected) and a 20% discount on batteries (starting from RM365), both extended to the end of the year.
The soon extinct VW Beetle Sport one to go for.
When is new POLO coming?
This is the official offer. You go into showrooms and ask for more, they give you more. I got a brand new Tiguan for RM130k. I am wondering, why should I buy a Proton X70 for RM123k when I can get a world award winner like the Tiguan for just slightly more?
Also now got free service for 5 years.
VW is truly a Malaysian car made for Malaysians!
RM163,000 is not slightly more than RM123,000. But you’re very welcomed to support our tow truck industry with your repeat business.
What a stupid statement..free service for 5 years.
As if other cars give only 2 years free service.
Wait until the spare parts problem crop up,your brand new car got stuck for 3 weeks u know.
At rm 15 K discount and possibly more…imagine what kind of obscene profits VPCM is making.
The rakyat should start boycotting horrendously overpriced cars..instead of falling into the money pit.
Memang shukor!
Wait lar until you start paying for the Service costs…..
This is typically the comment from non-VW Owner (instilled by Japanese car sellers). The service costs is not any higher than the Japanese car…
Which showroom did you go bro? Interested to get one if only 130k! Which model was it? Highline?
VW is truly a Malaysian car made for Malaysian tow truck drivers!
*Fixed that for you. You’re welcome.
Yours is Comfortline or Highline?
But i realLy scare of VW gearbox problem later.
Beetle purchased recently with less than 2000 km now in wokshop due to water leakage since 30 july . Bad quality and poor after sales service. Unless u hv a spare car, avoid this brand.
except for golf-R seems like newer model, the others are pretty extinct models
passat and tiguan are less than 2 years old
