BMW Malaysia set to introduce new M models soon

BMW Malaysia is set to introduce new M models soon, according to a post on the company’s official Facebook page, which is certainly good news the cure the Monday blues. Currently, BMW Malaysia’s M offerings include the M2 Coupe and X6 M.

The post did not include any details on what these new M models will be, but we reckon the facelifted F80 M3 and F82 M4 Coupe will be among the new introductions. Both models were removed from BMW Malaysia’s model line-up as of April this year, likely in anticipation of the new ones on their way.

Other probable models include the new M2 LCI, which made its global debut together with the 2 Series LCI in May. As BMW has yet to unveil the F90 M5 to the rest of the world, we reckon the Mercedes-AMG E 63 rival will not be making its debut here anytime soon.

Similarly, no information was provided on when the new M models will be introduced, with the caption merely reading: “M – the most powerful letter in the world. Mark your calendars for the unveiling of the new M Models soon.” Stay tuned for more info.

Aiyoo. M in Malaysia all close to 1 million. Cause already our car prices are highest in the world, the M even puts more burden to us Malaysians.

I hope the Government honour their promise to reduce car prices by 30%. Most Malaysians cannot even afford Saga, Myvi, Axia and Alza even.

According to EPF statistics, 78.3% of all its contributors earn RM1500 and below.

    • Im gonna call bull on this “fact” again. According to DOSM (Report of Household Income and Basic Amenities Survey 2014), median income is Rm6141 at compounded yearly increase of 10%. At 2017, its estimated will be at Rm8173. Its no wonder C-segments & D-segments & SUVs & MPVs r getting hotter day by day.
