The Jaguar E-Pace will make an appearance at the upcoming Premium Auto Car Expo (PACE), which is set to take place at Setia City Convention Centre on November 3 and 4, 2018, First revealed in July 2017, the E-Pace is the smaller sibling to the F-Pace, and competes against the Audi Q3, BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
The small SUV’s design is largely influenced by the brand’s lead sportscar, the F-Type, with headlamps, taillights and grille shaped in a similar fashion. Compared to the F-Pace, the E-Pace’s body is a lot more roundish in appearance, and there’s the obvious size difference – the E-Pace measures 4,395 mm long (2,681 mm wheelbase) compared to the F-Pace’s 4,731 mm (2,874 wheelbase).
Inside, the wraparound cockpit is accompanied by various technologies already present in other Jaguar models like the Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and Velar-like climate controls.
The E-Pace is available with diesel and petrol engines, with the latter the more likely to be offered in our country. The 2.0 litre Ingenium petrol mill comes in two states of tune – 249 PS/365 Nm and 300 PS/400 Nm, with both sporting a nine-speed ZF automatic transmission and AWD. In Thailand, the E-Pace comes with a 2.0 litre Ingenium turbodiesel (150 PS/380 Nm) with the same driveline.

I would be pleasantly surprised if they bring the I-Pace instead. We need EV exposure for the country.
This Pace model is lagging behind the XC40 and hot on its heels will be the LCI X1, the newly launched Q3 as well as the next gen GLA. DOA I would say.
