Of the three cars on display at Perodua’s KL International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2018 booth, only the Perodua Myvi GT is out in the open without any cover. The others displays are Perodua X-Concept and the boxed peep hole display of the company’s new SUV.
“The Myvi has been the ‘Love of the Nation’ for over a decade, but never have you seen one quite like this. With the Myvi GT, we are exceeding expectations of urban compact car design – creating the sportiest, boldest Myvi yet,” Perodua says.
The Myvi GT is an eye-catching sporty concept of how the current Myvi might look like as a “hot hatch”. The front bumper is an aggressive thing, with full-width mesh treatment and a prominent front splitter with a red pinstripe. The latter is repeated on the side skirts and lower rear bumper – a red line is also on the grille and goes into the headlamps, Mk7 Golf GTI-style. LED daytime running lamp strips sit above the “side intakes”.
On the sides, the wheel arches are more pronounced on the GT, and there’s even a sunroof. The car’s low stance goes well with the 17-inch Y-spoke gunmetal rims wrapped with 205/40 Bridgestone Adrenalin RE003 rubber.
Of course, no one would miss the Brembo calipers (two-pot front, single-pot rear) gripping cross-drilled brake discs. The rear end features a bold tailgate spoiler and twin exhaust pipes that poke out from the bumper. There’s also an F1-style brake light in between.
“The Myvi GT has been revamped to be as sporty inside as it is on the outside. It features leather bucket seats, a unique D-shaped steering wheel and dynamic trims that project boldness to all who step in,” Perodua says of the Myvi GT’s cabin.
It’s a dark cabin full of red accents. Bright red features on the upper dashboard surround, gear lever surround, and the lever itself. The bucket seats sport red centre spines to match the above-mentioned. Red stitching can be found on the seats, door cards and steering wheel, which looks very VW. Alcantara is dominant here, and can be found covering the dashboard, seats, steering wheel and door inserts.
Of course, this is merely a styling exercise to inspire owners and tuners – don’t expect such an extreme Myvi to reach showrooms. What do you think?

Fuyooo , Total wipeout. GGWP P2!!!
I just wish perodua give myvi a 1.5l manual gearbox only
What? Manual transmission? Nowaday? Traffic jammed?
the clear lense for tail light look nice..
good job
tastefully done
So much VW’s elemento in it, even the steering wheel are from VW. Surely an inspiration to Myvi’s Ahbengs. The steering wheel alone adds up 240bhp and 265nm of torque.
The racing stripes too adds on 100BHP. Don’t playplay with Myvi Ahbeng Edition!
Don’t forget the Extreme Advanced edition! Rumours said that every time you use the high beam it adds +75 bhp for overtaking aid!
Not bad not bad
Trash, Rubbish, Dustbin version.
For people like u who cant afford it
Sez the 2nd hand kapcai owner. Lolz!
Thrasher, Sporty, Hot version. Habisla john
Doesnt even match. Better try next time ya.
Better than what Daihatsu does with the Sirion back in 2015.
Game, set, checkmate. Try again proton.
Why tho? It does not related to Proton that much
MYVI Nismo Edition.
Could swear they took the bodykit cues from Nismo.
ahahaha.
With that agressive look, make sure the power is up to mark too. No point having a fierce look but with the engine still producing a puny horsepower only.
Perhaps P2 should turbo charged the engine.
Then only start talking…
Please don’t…the current version is already fast and furious
The Myvi gt should hv been the new myvi model launched in 2017….big hot seller
look nice, but i hope is not just cosmetic. there “GT” word mean this car need to be more power under the hood than the advance version. and pair with 6-speed manual gearbox not that auto.
I want!
lol at the auto transmission
No, with all that trim, its a 7 speed dualcluth, I can over take u like a GOLF GTI DSG
perodua should sell this myvi GT variance or at least with the Brembo calipers..
Putting on a cape doesn’t mean you can fly.
Sampah tetap sampah, letak GT buat apa? Bawa laju pun tak stabil, ini hanya syiok sendiri je.
Habis la Iriz! This Myvi designed sportier.
Myvi shiok sendiri edition. lol
Myvi belum sporty pun sudah habis Iriz. Keh keh keh..
So this year S1k race, Myvi masuk ah?
If masuk S1k race, at first corner oredy terbabas into the wall of shame.
The S1K race would probably do more damage to MyVi’s sales and reputation.
Even Big Sister Vios do not have a good track record there.
Better play safe and watch form the Grandstands only.
Mivi might have sportier design but i chose Iriz anyday over mivi. Iriz’s handling are far far far better than mivi hence more driving pleasure
Malangnya byk org masih tak tahu, mereka ingat Myvi tu handling byk bagus sebab tak pernah banding dgn Iriz.
Yeaaaah true that. Iriz dekat corner DUKE Setiawangsa-Sri Rampai exit 120kph still steady, mivi 90kph feels floaty already.
The Iriz is more comfortable and has a less busy ride quality than the Myvi despite the P2 having a softer suspension. P1 really know a thing or two when it comes to chassis and suspension tuning.
Save your money to do R&D for safety features rather than looks ”faster”
Yup, like preventing the rear axle from coming off. Until now P2 still deny there is a safety problem.
Careful now BMW, Honda and Merc new beast on highway. XD
Groan.. as if syiok-sendiri Myvi ricers aren’t bad enough as they are..
Rear are 4 pot cross-drilled and ventilated Brembos, PT. Worth to note accurately albeit being overkill.
Btw, thumbs up for the front end, seems living up for its GT monicker. Wheels sticking out tho…not nice, too ricer boy.
Haha. But BREMBO doesn’t make such small sized brake system. Looks more like those Ah beng addon “Brembo” caliper covers that you can find at Brothers.
This is not GT. it look more to ah beng
lampu LED dekat bumper depan tu beli dekat kedai Brothers ke??
kah kah
At first sight, though it was VW. Anyway, looks sporty enough. If Perodua launch this car. I bet 80k, look at those brake’s, brembo. Unless engine is tune up or Turbo then will consider
Wow.. stunning look.
Wow… Myvi Good Try (GT) !
How about the engine capacity?
This already looks promising. If they stuff this thing with a Supercharged 1.8L Yaris GRMN engine, it would be an awesome combination for a hot hatch. Don’t come here telling me a turbo 1.5L is a better option because got petrol subsidi, bruh orang yang beli kereta macam ni apa kisah dengan subsidi minyak. Mampu beli kereta mahal mampu beli minyak mahal, not that Myvi is an expensive car but anyways. Lol.
I have more concert about the heart of the car-engine & gearbox, why is it still using a 4gears configuration AT, like this RPM stay high as always … Why can’t just upgrade it to CVT? Many low income youngers still looking for fuel economy Myvi!!!
OK…another Myvi that I need to give way when I am cruising at 180KM/H with my 911.
You sucks as a driver, enough said!
Pls stop all these GT and bodykit nonsense, it will increase bodycounts caused by ah beng lalamoi racing otr
come la, drag with my honda civic turbo.
Myvi owners have enough inspiration. They don’t need more encouragement!
remove the stupid Auto Idle function, then we can talk.
I thought you can turn off the features? Mazda 2, VW Golf and even Volvo V40 had this. It also quite annoying here in those car but hey, i can turn it off before gerak. Gotta be rajin bro, the switch are just at a tip of your finger.
You can turn off everytime you start your engine or they can design it to remember you last settings like the one on my Honda PCX scooter. which one you prefer? The car is made to serve you, what mentality is to call oneself malas just because one think the feature can be better design to make you life easier.
Perodua’s 1st Hot Hatch in coming. Habislah Iriz & Jazz!!!!!!
The Village Champion of Malaysia gets it own Ricer look. LOL. Bodykit and lowered suspension in their minds means 1500hp increase. Modify and modify until kereta meletup. LMFAO.
So very beautiful
Of course this is the real game changer! Perodua always ahead of Proton!
the entire design is already defy the existence of traffic jam… a serious speedster definitely want manual transmission lah…
what this thing gonna put under the hood? 1.4cc engine?
Nice job Perodua!! Would like to see what’s under the hood……
I think if it’s toned down a bit on the kit and add a bit of power, for a limited run or limited edition, it could make it in the market.
What about the engine specs? Is it upgraded or….meh?
why always design the clear real tail light? is it more stylish? didn’t bored??
is this car came with signal? i dont think so… this kind of car doesnt need a signal, cause no one gonna use it. dont really matter if it came with any.
Nice brembo LOL!
No. 96,jln kilauan 2,taman kilauan, 45600 batang berjuntai selangor
Who would buy a car with many ricer mods and less performance.
how many horse power is that car?
