经过了一连串的预告,2018年式小改款MINI终于登陆大马市场了!在本地贩售的新MINI拥有三种不同版本可选,包括三门及五门版的MINI Cooper S,以及MINI John Cooper Works Hatch,它们的售价分别是RM 226,888、RM 236,888,以及RM 283,888(上路价不包含保险)。
外观上,新车维持了MINI一惯小改款的风格,在既有轮廓之下,仅在细节处进行调整。从车头来看,它的前进气格栅下缘加入了镀铬饰点缀,而且头灯组内部结构有一些精进之处,比如说环形的LED日行灯条,以及灯组内部透镜造型的变化。
此外,新车的前雾灯位置也有变化,此前雾灯位置为不规则造型,而新款车型则采用了圆形雾灯口;侧面来看,新车与现款车型保持一致;来到车尾,它的最大变化来自于尾灯组,本次小改款的MINI别出心裁的将Union Jack米字旗的造型融入到了尾灯中,让它看起来更具时尚美感。

内装方面,新车与现款车型几乎保持一致,唯独全新设计的电子排档杆造型相比现款更加精致,而中控台部分,其多媒体屏幕将根据不同版本车型提供不同的尺寸,当然其配备在不同版本的车型上也会有所差异。
动力方面,三门及五门版的新MINI Cooper S皆搭载了一具2.0升的四缸MINI TwinPower Turbo引擎,它们的最大输出功率为192匹马力,峰值扭矩是280牛顿米,极速可达235公里/小时。
至于顶级的MINI John Cooper Works Hatch则可输出231匹的最大马力,以及320牛顿米的最大扭力,其极速可达246公里/小时。
根据原厂提供的数据,三门版车型从0到100公里/小时加速需6.7秒;五门版车型需6.8秒;MINI John Cooper Works Hatch则需6.1秒。最重要的是,新车将搭配新的七速DCT双离合器变速箱。凭借这款全新的湿式离合器变速箱,新车将会有更快的换挡速度,从而提升其性能表现。
三门版的新MINI拥有7种车身配色可选,包括Chili Red、Pepper White、Solaris Orange、White Silver、Starlight Blue、Thunder Grey,以及搭配黑车顶的British Racing Green。而选择Chili Red的消费者也可选择与白车顶搭配。
至于五门版则拥有6种配色可选,包括Chili Red、Pepper White、Emerald Grey、White Silver、Starlight Blue,以及搭配黑车顶的British Racing Green。选择Chili Red一样可以选配白色车顶。
值得一提的是,MINI也引进了自家的MINI Yours Customised Accessories客制化配件,消费者可根据自己的设计喜好要求厂方加以改装,比如说侧窗、仪表板、LED迎宾踏板,以及LED车门投影器等配件。消费者可登入www.yours-customised.mini选用设计与订购MINI Yours客制化服务,原厂提供的选项包括色彩、图案、面板、标识以及在设计上加入自定义文字。
